Not Dr.Gero's Androids (Alcatel Android Phones)

The last time I heard of the term "android" was during the Dragon Ball Z days when Dr.Gero created his army of cyborgs (the Red Ribbon Army. No, they weren't covered with icing and chocolate syrup) to serve a sweet revenge against Goku.

Fast forward about half a decade and we encounter again the rise of the androids, not as those we knew of in Goku's days but those in the form of mobile phones. These android mobile phones, run by the Google-developed Android operating system, have a more complex operating system which allows the user to multi-task or run several applications at the same time. These applications can be bought from the Android™ Market and some can even downloaded for free!

The possibilities are endless with these phones as you can update your friends through social media applications like Facebook and Twitter, browse through an encyclopedia through a resource application, play unlimited games that were once only seen in computers. Good thing is that more and more softwares are being developed in the market to suit one's lifestyle and needs!

As one of the first brands to enter the Philippine cellphone industry, ALCATEL Mobile Philippines just launched a new and exciting line of Android phones that give great value for money at their very competitive prices and quality products.

They now offer 3 new mobile phones as part of their Blaze series, the OneTouch Blaze 906, OneTouch Blaze Duo 890D, OneTouch Blaze 990. (Click the links to see the specs and review from Yugatech) All of which are have touchscreen, Wi-fi, 3G+HSDPA, G-Sensors, mp3/FM radio and expandable memories via microSD.These units are now available in SM Cyberzone, Games and Gadgets, Wellcom, and other leading dealers nationwide.

Personally, I belive these android phones are very useful devices since they can be used for work and play. I remember one time when it almost saved us from a quiz, good thing a medical reference application was available for quick searching. :))

  1. Androids ARE very useful. They're also awfully distracting, especially if one is addicted to Facebook.
