After my shift earlier, I walked home and saw what seemed to be a fruit stand along Dapitan. After taking a closer look it was actually a fruit shake stand. Being my gluttonous self, the colorful chunks of fruits contained in stacked boxes were a real temptation.
While my eyes are so engrossed in choosing the fruit combination, Carmela, the owner of the shake stand, suggested some of her best mixes. Being in the business for around 8 years, I wouldn't question the shake connoisseur's palate. I immediately accepted her first suggestion, Oreo-cheese, which tasted heavenly. Marvin, my officemate, had strawberry-banana which tasted very light and refreshing. It was really a stress reliever after taking in calls the whole day.
I think what set her shake stand apart from the rest is the variety of fruits and mixes available. For the health conscious, she has cucumber, ampalaya, and carrots as variants. For the young at heart, she has grahams, chocolate, and oreo. It's guaranteed happiness in a plastic cup. :)
