Most of the time when we receive a less than satisfactory service, we resort to ranting and endless complaining, right? I had a different experience when Starbucks had a lapse on service standards the other day.
As you all know, the sticker collection season of Starbucks had already begun and I happened to join the craze and eat my words from this post. What happened was, the preparation time of my coffee took longer than the usual time I would have to wait in other Starbucks shops. Sensing that it had already been taking too long, I followed up my order and it turned out that they had missed my order!
After a while, the barista handed over my drink while saying his apologies and gave something that looked like a bookmark. Turns out it was a coupon entitling me a complimentary drink at any size, pro bono! :) I wouldn't mind getting my order late every time, if this was always the case! HAHA

This reminds me of something I would like to post weeks ago but haven't had the appropriate topic to insert it to. This is just a simple reminder to bloggers who do review of restaurants and services. As bloggers, we have that capacity to shape the consumers minds. In fact, I can say that we are the next main sources of publicity and other media releases. This is why even simple blog post can send off a rippling effect to its readers that may either invite or dissuade a possible customer. So let this be a point of awareness to all bloggers to write reviews responsibly and avoid being unfair to companies. Let us be objective and not base our opinions in one single incident. Orayt? :)
