I usually make okray (conyo much?) the things I see on TV. Yet I am about to commit a change of heart with this post as I saw from Pilipinas Got Talent Season II this blind singer named Jeremie Tampoy who is seriouslllyyy good. Her voice is so powerful as a punch from Manny Pacquiao. Though I think she still has to work on those high notes a little bit.
Aside from the fact that I am a Phantom of the Opera fanatic and I really enjoyed her version of "That's All I Ask from You" which gave the song a new feel, making it sound current. I can really say that her performance was really heartfelt and shook me to the core. Tumaas balahibo ko mula ulo hanggang paa. :))

Nice one.. Diction and high notes nga lang ang naging set back pero inspiring naman. It's good for TV.

ReplyDeleteActually the singing and piano playing are nothing special. Her voice is mediocre (compared to the other singers in the contest). Objectively speaking, her being a blind made the whole act so special.

It's not worth 2m really but i think the different timbre of her voice sets her apart from the overrated pop singers that we have. :) thank you for sharing your opinion. :)
