Let the words be published in every broadsheet of the land, from most unrespectable tabloid to revered newspaper, proclaim the good news! May the people clamor and celebrate this jubilant feat by emptying the news stands as fast as as KFC running out of Doubledowns on its first weeks of release!

Rejoice for this marks yet another triumph - attaining justice for all the lives sacrificed in this battle - not only for the citizens of America but also for our own. We have longed for this, toiled enough by fixing our eyeballs to our television screens and gluing our ears on AM radio stations, day by day. 

And in this eventful day, peace has been reclaimed! 

…or has it? 

As the mastermind of Al-Quaeda had already been put down, it’s just but sensible to raise our defenses once more in preparation for a retaliatory attack by the Islamic terrorists that would again shake the whole world to its core. The Philippines, being considered an ally of the United States, shall always be on its toes starting today. For once, the guards who seem to do their job by poking our bags at malls should start doing their service in greater diligence.

One can say that this whole war is not like a chess game that ends once the king (in this case, Osama Bin Laden) is pawned or put on to a stale mate. Like a war of existence it ends when the other completely annihilate another. 

I am convinced that as long as there are remaining “pawns” that could be utilized by the opposition, they too can rise and replace the former. Fueled with more hatred, these pawns could even outdo their predecessors.

Heads up USA and allies, for the battle just begun.
