UST Nursing Week: The Aftermath

It's been a busy week again for the student nurses of the Royal and Pontifical university as they celebrate GREENBOOKED: The Nursing Week Celebration. This year there were a lot of activities planned, although I would say that it was not as fun as last year's celebration. First is that there were so much activities that the schedules of some activities overlapped with each other. Second, the heavy workload given to the students with regard to the inter-class competitions (Dance for the sophomores and Broadway musical for the Juniors). Some were even saying that, "Hindi na namin naenjoy ung Nursing Week sa kakapractice", which I notice to be true as manifested by poor attendance to some events.

In short, Nursing Week didn't feel like Nursing Week. In contrast to last year, when you could sense that the atmosphere at St.Martin de Porres building is relaxed, or should I say... the Nursing side of the St.Martin de Porres building since the Fac. of  Med and College of Rehab Sciences still had classes.

What kept me busy is this year's Songfest and Battle of the Bands wherein we, the Nursing Chorale sponsored the event. Here are some pics of the preparations:

I'll elaborate further on the Songfest and Battle of the Bands on my next entry. Don't have much time to spare nowadays. Forgive me for my poor sentence construction. I'll fix it soon.
