Campus Tour: De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde

De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB or Benile) is a private, Catholic college under the De La Salle System. It is situated along Taft Avenue, Malate, Manila.

At present, the college has three campuses, the Taft Campus along Taft Avenue, the Angelo King International Center Campus located at Arellano Avenue, and the School of Design and Arts Campus at Pablo Ocampo Street.

The college offers degree and non-degree programs designed for the development of professionals in the arts, design, management, service industries, computer applications in business, and special fields in study.

The college is also noted to offer "rare courses" such as animation, consular and diplomatic affairs, digital filmmaking, export management, fashion design and merchandising, multimedia arts, music production, and photography.

Aside from the courses mentioned above, they also offer other courses such as:

As you can see, the School of Design and Arts has the most number of courses to offer. Which I find downright fascinating. It's like being in a school where the arts are given the due attention they rightfully deserve but I'm not saying that the science courses are to be left out to. Personally, if I were given a chance (and the money) to study the arts and design, I would really consider DLS-CSB amid the negative stigma that they have. But one thing I know, DLS-CSB students are more than the stigma they carry. In fact, some of my classmates currently study there.

Their facilities are also worth noting, what can I say, they're part of the La Salle System. They have a school-based hotel, jaw-dropping SDA building, and multimedia LRU's.

One good school for the artists, I must say.
